In summer, we know or at least we hope, we have more time for ourselves. And between a swim in the sea and a walk in the mountains, it often happens that you also dedicate yourself to your professional training. Perhaps looking for channels to discover once and for all (which perhaps have been put among favorites and never watched again) or to discover for the first time. Then for those who write, and in particular who do so on the web (a world subject to many changes) the summer can be the ideal period to find inspiration, to learn new techniques, to experiment and, why not, sow ideas which will then be developed when it will be less hot and we will turn off the air conditioners.
To help with all this, I have selected 3 books , 3 newsletters , 3 podcasts Germany Telegram Number Data and 3 blogs that, in my opinion, can be interesting for those who write on the web . Some are a little more "inspirational" - pass me the term - others who deal with the web and web copywriting in the strict sense. Ready to go on this journey? Let's start with the books. 3 books to read: Carver, San Francisco Writer's Grotto and Riccardo Esposito “The Craft of Writing,” by Raymond Carver Let's start with a book that in my opinion everyone should read even if they perhaps haven't read Cattedrale or other stories written by this American author: “The Craft of Writing” by Raymond Carver . Yes, a writer... on paper and on paper who in his short life - 50 years - truly did any job to survive, always keeping writing in mind.
This summer 2019 I recommend reading Carver, The Craft of Writing Why do I also recommend it to those who write on the web? Because Carver, with his way of talking about the masters who inspired him, how family life and the lack of money influenced his writing, the limited time he had and the choice to focus on stories because they were easier to complete, is illuminating . It is because it seems to us that he speaks to us , obsessed with clicks and speed (without him expressly mentioning it) and, at the same time, with his reflection on the right words to use, on their weight, he gives us a way to think to how we write, to how we choose them.
